Perceval Barrier
Perceval Barrier was born in 1983 in a medieval village with a medieval first name but unfortunately there were few opportunities in the chivalry business… So he decided to study Art and Design in Amiens in order to become a graphic designer by day and an illustrator by night, or vice versa. In English Perceval did “The battle of the vegetables” (3 contes cruels). Perceval is well known for Beatrice l’intrépide’s adventures, Le plein de Blorg, Manoel le liseur de la jungle, released with Matthieu Sylvander only available in French. He has just released a beautiful picture book Francisco.
For this year’s edition of the South Ken Kids Festival, he is taking part in Impro! and will be running virtual workshops with schools as part of our Outreach programme.
