Bridget Marzo
Bridget believes in the power of pens, pencils, paints – and picture books – to change lives. Known for her warm characters and interactive invention, Bridget Marzo (formerly Bridget Stevens Marzo) is the award-winning artist-author of over 20 internationally-published picture books. Bridget is bilingual, working between her East London base in the UK and France. She has a particular interest in mixed heritage and visual literacy and is currently working on a picture book for Walker Books about what we have in common across the world. Her latest UK picture book, Tiz and Ott’s Big Draw continues to inspire children, and adults, to draw and paint themselves out of holes.
For this year’s edition of the South Ken Kids Festival, she will be running virtual workshops with schools as part of our Outreach programme.
